S’been a while, annit?

And that’s my fault; I’m so sorry. I don’t even really know what happened, I just… didn’t feel like blogging. Terrible behaviour, I do apologise.

So, what’s been going on since we last spoke, you ask? Kind of a lot, actually, which makes it even worse that I haven’t been updating you!

You know how my cover launched? Well, first of all, people were so lovely about it, which I completely get, because Micaela has done such a beautiful job. I love it more every time I look at it.

…Then I got invited to speak at YALC in November, which is the Young Adult Literature Convention. It’s a super cool panel event, especially because I’ll be alongside some genuinely brilliant authors of mythic retellings and magical adventures. (Mildly nervous about the 2 hour signing that happens after, because WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND would queue to see… me?! But still, lovely to be invited).

I’ve been to a slew of delightful book launches in recent weeks, meaning I’ve got loads of ideas for planning mine!

And next week? Well. Next week I’m getting on a BIG OL’ BOAT and cruising to Norway and Denmark! Given that it’s not far off two years since I was in Iceland, I’m thrilled to heading north-north-north once more. No doubt I’ll have more exciting adventures to discuss upon my return…
