That’s it, that’s the blog.

Not really obviously, but this is a very strange post in the sense that I don’t really have any news to share.

I did finish my line edits, and sent them back to my editor, but I feel kind of… flat about it? I don’t know, I feel like they might come back with a load more suggestions. It’s not that I don’t think I’ve done good work, but I am very much in the middle of the trees right now, failing to see the whole thing is a forest.

I’m working on my next project, and it’s going fairly well this week. I’m almost halfway through my first draft, and I’ve got a series of ideas to improve it already, so that feels positive and productive (even though my agent hasn’t seen it yet, so she could always reject it).

But generally, I have nothing new. Nothing to announce on the upcoming book (yet), and I haven’t done much of anything beyond writing or crocheting recently.

I’m not upset about any of this… it’s just a bit fallow, and that’s okay. The blog updates might trail off for a while, but I’ll be back next time I have news!
